About

Our History

My name is Sara Molina and I created HumanKIND after participating in a community event with my incredible group of friends. Some of us met in pre-K and all of us are family. I coordinated for us to spend a day in Richmond California in December, 2019 and since then, my plan is to organize quarterly activities for our group to give back to our community. Our 2020 summer plan was for 5 of us to travel to Colombia to support Casa San Jose‘s mission, but we were forced to postpone our trip.

With COVID-19, I had to change the way in which I contribute and decided to focus on helping Casa San Jose’s families with basic monthly groceries. My brother Mateo was more than happy to help with my new plan and my friends help by spreading the word and buying cookies. Mateo will bake and sell cookies with me to reach our goal of feeding low income families in Cali (Colombia), through Casa San Jose. I hope he motivates his own group of friends to also be part of HumanKIND and help us make a difference.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.
