HumanKIND Art Contest: an idea for brighter days
Thanks to an article in Colombia’s newspaper El Pais, and interviews in RCN and Caracol radio, more people in Colombia know about our initiative and wanted to help us help.
Cali (Colombia) went back to strict lockdown in March 19th, 2021 as the pandemic rages on. We wanted to brighten the days of the low income kids that live in small spaces and are unable to leave their homes; therefore, we partnered with Norma Colombia to deliver art kits for an Art Contest. We were also blessed to have the support of Sweet Vanessa, a bakery in Cali, that will donate the prices to participants and winners.
The contest started April 1st and ended on the 30th and the kids turned their art into THANK YOU messages.
